Big Screen Slide
MUSC features big screen slides that showcase announcements, upcoming events, and important messages from MSU-recognized clubs, MSU departments, McMaster departments, faculty societies, and teams.
Introduction
Please use the following form to submit a slide on the MUSC Big Screen in the Marketplace.
Slides, if accepted for display, will be put in a rotation of slides. The first priority for the Big Screen display is to support Marketplace events; promotional slides may not show during events.
How to Make a Big Screen Slide
- Open a new file in a design program. Canva.com is simple and free!
- Reset Design to Landscape: 1920(horizontal) x 1080(vertical) px.
- Design your slide. Add backgrounds, photos, and text that is easy to read.
- Keep it simple. Centre your design and don't put text at the edges, as it may be cut off by the frame on the screen.
- Download your design. Save it as a .png file.
- Submit your slide. Using the form below
General Rules for Slides
- Slides must be for the promotion of an event or campaign hosted by a McMaster-based club or department.
- Slides must be aesthetically-pleasing and suitable for public viewing (legible print/font, no offensive images/phrases, etc.) Image and content restrictions may apply.
- Slides must be saved in .png format with an aspect ratio of 1920 x 1080 px
- File names cannot have spaces (e.g. use FileName.png, not File Name.png)
